SAP Announces Q4 and FY 2022 Results

In FY 2022, all financial projection parameters were met. Cloud revenue increased by 33% and by 24% at constant currency. SAP S/4HANA cloud revenue increased by 101% and 90% at constant currency in the fourth quarter. Over €12 billion in cloud backlog currently, up 27% and 24% at constant currency. In FY 2022, cloud gross profit increased 38% under IFRS, 37% under non-IFRS, and 28% at constant currencies. Non-IFRS operating profit decreased by 2% and decreased by 7% at constant currency in FY 2022, while IFRS operating profit remained steady. Operating profit increased by 17% under IFRS in the fourth quarter, 5% under non-IFRS, and 2% under constant currencies. Accelerating topline growth and double-digit non-IFRS operating profit growth are predicted for 2023. Focus on strategic growth sectors and accelerated cloud transition is reflected in the targeted reorganization in 2023. SAP has made the decision to consider selling its interest in Qualtrics.
